There is no better way to explore the Golan height then in a jeep. My name is Ilan, I have a company called NO OTHER LAND, which specialized in jeep tours in the Golan at the very north of Israel. Ower trips are enlightening, interesting and gives an excellent understanding as to the politics of war and borders in that  area of the country with pure fun !!l 

Most of the tours takes about two hours , the trail that I like the most starts in kibbutz Marom Golan, in the north of the Golan heights. From the bake gate of the kibbutz we going to cross Quneitra vally and see the fruit trees of the kibbutz and ours ways to irrigate the trees. From there we going to ride up to one of the volcano mountains for seeing Syria from above. The plane its to stop in one of the Israeli bunkers for talking about the complicated relationship between the two countries. Next place we going to see its Quneitra, which was the capital city of the Syrian Golan.From there we will get to the border pas with the Israeli solders from one side and the syrians from the other. By crossing the apple and the cherry fields we going to get beck to the kibbutz

:Another example , this time for a longer trip

Its jeep tour that combines short walk. We can start it in Rosh pina on the Upper Galilee, and start raiding along the Jordan river above the sea of Galilee , and see the beginning of the national water carrier project. Than we going to move toward the western slops of the Golan height, which used the Syrians as the west line of deafens. We can start near one of the Syrians bunkers, a short walk inside water that going to bring us to amazing flour mill used the Syrians soldiers

From there we going to keep raiding toward amazing cave on the Golan, there we going to make us coffee and tell few stories from the Golan heights. We going to cross the fields of the valley , and eventually we will end in the place we started
